75 years separate us from the end of the Second World War. The day of victory against Nazism became the most powerful symbolic event of the 20th<\/sup> century, which also enabled\/launched the creation of a completely new world (or so it seemed then). The history of the New Europe began on the 8th<\/sup>\u00a0of May, 1945. The same date was also the beginning of a new global confrontation and the expansion of the Soviet empire.<\/p>\n

It’s very easy to remember only one of these directions and narrate the post-war history as either black or white. But is it possible to find such a frame that would allow to see all? Join a conversation about what the end of World War II means in Ukraine today.<\/p>\n
